LegacyData exists because most families’ digital lives are scattered across devices nobody has opened in years. Kamyab Infotech runs it.

§ 01 — Why it exists

A family’s data rarely lives in one place.

Photos sit on a phone from 2014. School projects are on a laptop that no longer starts. A wedding album is on an external disk in a drawer, and the rest is spread across email, WhatsApp and a cloud account that is nearly full.

Nobody decided to lose any of it. It simply stayed where it was while the devices around it aged. LegacyData reads those devices carefully, brings what is on them together, checks the copy, and hands you one archive that you own.

We are not mainly a data-recovery lab. Most of what we do is the patient, unglamorous work of finding, copying and verifying, so that you do not have to spend your weekends on it. If you would rather do it yourself, our guides, checklist and workshops are there for that.

§ 03 — How we work

AI-assisted. Human-supervised. Customer-owned.

Three plain principles, in the order they matter to the people who hand us their devices.

  1. 01AI-assisted.
    Where we use AI, it is for explanation and education, such as putting risk in plain language, and for summarising our own operations. It does not read your files: they are never used to train AI, and content-level AI inspection is not enabled.
  2. 02Human-supervised.
    A person handles every device, one tagged device at a time, and a person checks the result against the original before anything is called finished.
  3. 03Customer-owned.
    The archive is yours. You choose where it lives, you review it, and you decide when our working copies are erased.
